The Freo Ocean Classic is more than a swim it’s a celebration of Fremantle’s coastal culture. Friends, families, and surf lifesaving clubs come together to support swimmers, enjoy the beachside atmosphere, and share in a long-standing community tradition started by the Port Beach Polar Bears in 1982 and run by the Freemantle Surf Club.
