Pink & Blue Swim

Originally named the Pink Swim, the event launched in 2013 following the introduction of compulsory high-vis pink vests for surf lifesavers during training and in the water. After several members were diagnosed with breast cancer that year, we decided to replace the pink vests with pink caps and solicit donations in support. The inaugural event saw 80 swimmers participate, sparking significant interest and leading to the expansion into the event we know today. Over a decade later our event has grown from strength to strength and attracts participants from all over the state and beyond. All monies raised are equally distributed between our breast and prostate cancer beneficiaries.
