The safe swimming zone begins adjacent to Beach Rd. There are a number of yellow conical buoys marking a “no boating” zone. Waters vary depending on the Snowy flow, but are generally really clean and without unpredictable currents. Be aware of the tide - it is estuarine, this tidal. There’s a resident seal.
