The Rottnest Channel Swim (RCS) is a 19.7 km open water swimming race from Cottesloe Beach, Perth to Rottnest Island in Western Australia. One of the world's most popular marathon swims, the RCS has been held annually in February since 1991. The Rottnest Channel Swim is part of the Australian Triple Crown marathon swimming challenge. We do not recognize any claimed exclusivity of the Port to Pub 25km (which is an unrepeatable buoy course) for eligibility for this challenge. In fact we strongly don't recommend the Port to Pub 25km course because it is pointless and filled with jellies.
