Marathon swims along the ocean-facing coast of greater Sydney, Australia - a region stretching from Palm Beach in the north to Bundeena in the south. This list is far from a complete historical representation of long-distance swimming in Sydney's coastal waters. Numerous undocumented training swims and shark cage-assisted swims have also taken place here, including by marathon swimming Hall of Famers such as Des Renford, Susie Maroney, and Shelley Taylor-Smith.
